Dr. Tarun C. Khanna is currently a research scientist in Geochemistry Division of CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad, India. He has received B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D degrees from the Osmania University, Hyderabad. Dr. Khanna did his Post- Doc in the Department of Earth & Ocean Sciences, University of South Carolina, under the guidance of Prof. Gene M. Yogodzinski and Asst. Prof. Michael Bizimis (http://web2.geol.sc.edu/yogodzinski/Genes_Web_Site/Tarun.html). Khanna’s research areas include Precambrian geology and geochemistry, evolution of Archean greenstone belts and crustal growth processes; Subduction zone magmatism, geochronology and Isotope geochemistry involving Lu-Hf, Sm-Nd and Pb-Pb systematics.
