 Dr. Dhanunjaya Naidu, a senior Research Fellow of CSIR-NGRI for Young Scientist Award of A.P. Akademy of Sciences for the year 2010.

Dr. G. Dhanunjaya Naidu, a senior Research Fellow of CSIR-NGRI (presently research officer at CWPRS, Pune) received the Young Scientist Award 2010 of A.P. Akademy of Sciences for his significant contributions towards magnetotelluric studies. Dr. Naidu carried out extensive studies in two complex tectonic regions, the Narmada-Tapti lineament zone, Central India and the southern granulite terrain, south India.

Dr. G. Dhanunjaya Naidu has so far published papers in 10 International Journals. His studies in Central India led to identification of potential zones for hydrocarbon exploration while the studies on southern granulite terrain were focussed on geodynamic processes of SGT.
