Director, NGRI while presenting the highlights of the progress made in
various projects and activities to the RC, emphasized that NGRI would be
completing 49 glorious years of its existence and entering its Golden
Jubilee Year in October 2010. He reflected the NGRI's desire to celebrate
the Golden Jubilee Year (from October 2010 to October 2011) in a befitting
manner. In this connection, a Core Committee (list enclosed) has been
constituted by the Director to oversee the various activities connected
with the Golden Jubilee Year Celebrations (GJYC) of NGRI. The Core
Committee, in turn, constituted different sub-committees (list enclosed) 
which include Commemorative volume committe, souvenir committee,
Documentary Film Committee, Open days Committee etc. etc.
